Sheila and Brooke first met as young girls in ballet class: Their hair pulled back into tight buns, wearing pink tights and black leotards, crushing rosin with their pointe shoes and performing pirouettes and grande jetes across the floor to the sound of Chopin. Within a year, both girls were attending the Palm Beach County School of the Arts (now known as Dreyfoos School of the Arts), dancing, singing, and, in Sheila’s case photographing and drawing, their way through school.  Their school experience was certainly unique; in fact, they’re still close with many of their former classmates!  Sheila moved over from studying dance into the visual arts department while still in high school, while Brooke expanded into music and theatre.

After they graduated, Sheila studied graphic design and fine art in college before relocating to California to work in marketing and advertising while raising her family.  Brooke eventually moved for the U.S. Navy while raising her own children, and studied history and economics while working as a professional military musician.  While they lost touch for a while, their friendship stayed intact.

In 2014, both Sheila and Brooke had coincidentally moved back to Palm Beach.  Life had happened, and now they were both mothers and career women.  It was by complete happenstance that Brooke reached out to Sheila for her design expertise on a marketing project for her company, and they immediately began working together… just like old times!  Both Sheila and Brooke have had a love affair with the arts, and that love continued into their professional careers as adults.  Sheila’s eye for design combined with Brooke’s sense of organization just made sense. Working together after almost thirty years of friendship seemed like a natural fit.  Together, along with inspiration from their daughters Madyson and Alexandra Paige (see what they did, there?), they created Madyson Paige, LLC.

A Personal Note from Sheila and Brooke:

“Thirty years of trust and friendship are a fantastic benefit to our clients.  We have an intuitive, collaborative style that complements each other.  We play off of each other’s strengths and lift each other up in friendship and with respect.  It’s those qualities of our working relationship and friendship that give our clients a sense of confidence in our ability to make each and every event stylish, beautiful, and dedicated to even the tiniest detail.”

Sheila Gonzalez

Chief Creative Officer

Sheila was born in New York City and grew up in the Equestrian world of Wellington Florida. She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University Cum Laude with a double major in Marketing and Fine Arts and is currently finishing her MBA at Harvard University. When she realized her love for planning events and passion for design, she took her business savvy and management skills to create Madyson Paige Events. Madyson Paige Events top priority is to fulfill the clients’ desires.

Sheila makes this happen by understanding clients’ event vision, learning about their values and personality, and designing an event that is one-of-a-kind. “Seeing clients smile because we’ve turned their vision to reality is the best part of my job,” expressed Sheila. “I am thrilled when clients can’t stop talking about the event we created together.”

Sheila collaborates with her team and brings in top-notch event industry vendors to ensure that all events are flawless. When she is away from work, Sheila loves spending time with her beautiful daughter Madyson, her furry baby Chloe and her husband Ismael and plans to visit all of the continents.

Brooke is a Florida native, born and raised in sunny Palm Beach County.  She studied dance and music beginning at age three, and majored in Dance at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts.  She obtained her B.A. in History and minored in Economics at the University of Maryland, University College.  She’s worked in management and executive roles in finance, staffing and human resources, and technology.  During her tenure in the military, Brooke was a professional musician in the U.S. Navy USNA Premier Band and also the Executive Assistant to the Command Master Chief (CMDCM) of the U.S. Naval Academy where she was responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of large, command-specific military events, dinners, themed holiday events, and public relations.

Her experience in management, combined with her experience as a musician, dancer and PR and event planner, gives Brooke the kind of background necessary to get fabulous soirees planned on time and on budget.   A stickler for details and structure, she’s the organizational wordsmith and creative writer behind Sheila’s savvy design, and lends her business acumen to each project to ensure timely vendor deliveries that are budget-sensitive.

When Brooke isn’t busy planning, writing, shopping, or being a “Boss Lady”, you can find her hanging out on her patio with her pups Polly and Elvis and recent addition, Raja the Peacock, laughing with her partner in crime, Lukas, or spending time with her amazing children Alexandra Paige and Drake, always amazed at how time flies and often stage-whispering “I can’t believe I made them!”
